Easy DIY Sundae Bar with Mayfield Ice Cream

Easy DIY Sundae Bar with Mayfield Ice Cream

Who needs an ice cream moment?!? July 18th is National Ice Cream Day and we’re partnering with Mayfield Ice Cream to share a fun way to celebrate with the whole family!

*This post is sponsored by Mayfield Ice Cream. The opinions are completely my own, based on my experience.*

We love being outside in the summer! The only problem is, it’s so dang hot & humid in Columbia, SC!

One of our favorite ways to cool off and still be together as a family is a refreshing, cool treat on the patio (under the umbrellas shade of course!) watching the sunset.

It’s summer so the days are brighter for longer, right. And we don’t have to be anywhere, so we are in no rush for bedtime. We love it!

We’re celebrating National Ice Cream Day this summer with an easy, at home, DIY Ice Cream Sundae Bar using Mayfield Ice Cream.

I chose Mayfield Ice Cream because they are a co-op of family owned farms. They're using farmers right here in our community and that’s something I can definitely support.

They use high quality ingredients and fresh cream from their own dairies creating the richest, creamiest ice cream.

And I love that you can take a sundae bar anywhere - at home, on family vacations, for birthday parties or hanging out with friends. It’s so fun and so tasty!

We got Mayfield’s Neapolitan Ice Cream (something for everyone!) and just used what we had on hand for the sundae toppings. But the possibilities are endless!

Here’s what we used:

Sprinkles

Crushed Cookies

Gummy Worms

Bananas

Chocolate Chips

Whipped Cream

Chocolate Sauce

Cherries

They also have these cute, individual sized cups of pre-made sundaes for a quick & easy treat. It’s so good (and you don’t even have to share)!

Our family really connects and gets to take a break around the table. Yes, we love to eat, but it’s also about slowing down and getting a chance to actually talk to each other that I love best.

After all, I only get 18 summers with my kids where they’re all mine. I want to make them count and create lasting memories we can cherish for a lifetime. ❤️
