Cute & Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Decorations

I always have these grand intentions of doing all these holiday crafts and DIYs for every single holiday… for some reason, I decided to get it together for Valentine’s Day. Here are some cute and easy DIY Valentine’s Day decorations.

Flower Wall

Easy and affordable flower wall! Get either real or faux flower stems in varying colors. I used real carnation bouquets (4) for $12. Cut them to different lengths and use different sized blooms (full, half, buds).

Arrange them at an angle, not side by side. I started in the middle and worked my way out. Use any type of tape to adhere. I used clear, but to make more of a statement you can use washi tape or masking tape.

Ombré Floral Heart Wreath

Found all my materials at the Dollar Tree but linked similar items here:

Cut the stems as close to the bloom as possible so the wire doesn’t stick out too much. Start with the lightest shade first. Glue right on the wreath to hold the flower in place. Once it’s in place, turn the wreath over and put more glue on the flower & wire to secure. Once all the lightest flowers are in place, move to the medium shade and so on.

Farmhouse Burlap Pennant Heart Banner

Again, found all my materials at the Dollar Tree but I’ve linked some here:

To make my Farmhouse Pennant Heart Banner, I took a long piece of burlap and folded it over the twine. I secured it at the top (near the twine) and bottom with hot glue. Repeat this step until you’ve used all the burlap ribbon.

After I finished all the pennants, I cut angles out at the bottom of each one. Repeat till you get through all the pennants. (You don’t have to do this step but I think it adds to the design.)

Next I used a homemade heart stencil to outline the heart (use any heart outline) and colored it in with a red sharpie. Then I added the red glitter glue (you don’t need a lot!). Finish off all the other pennants. Allow to dry (it took mine all night).

Hope y’all enjoyed these cute and easy DIY Valentine’s Day decorations! I don’t enjoy making crafts just for the sake of crafting, I want them to be useful and timeless. You could continue to use these designs for years!

The video tutorials for these projects are saved under DIYs and flower wall in my highlights on Instagram. You can check it out for more details HERE.
