30 Meaningful & Unique Christmas Gifts for Toddler Boys

30 Meaningful & Unique Christmas Gifts for Toddler Boys

We’re trying something new this year with the kids Christmas gifts. I want to try and stick to the four-gift rule. Giving the kids something they want, something they can wear, something they need, and something they can read.

I love giving experience gifts, but since our children are pretty young, I don’t think it would seem overly special to them because we regularly take them to their favorite places (the zoo and the children’s museum).

Unwrapping a couple of thoughtful presents they can use right away would be more enjoyable for toddlers, I think. So let’s start with boy gifts! Here are 30 meaningful & unique Christmas gifts for toddler boys.

Something They Want

  1. Two in One Scooter for Kids: This scooter has a folding/removable seat, is adjustable and lights up! I know any little boy would just love it!

  2. Spot It! Children’s Game: This game is so fun, interactive, educational and great for kids of all ages. It’s easy enough for toddlers, but fun for older kids too. PLus it’s one of those games that can be pretty quiet and travels easily. Win, win, WIN!

  3. Remote Control Excavator: If your little boy is anything like mine, he LOVES construction things. And further more, he loves remote controlled things. This remote control excavator is both!

  4. Picasso Tiles: These are perfect for kids of all ages, but especially toddlers. And especially toddler boys. My son has so much fun making “garages” with these for all his little cars. This is the best price I’ve seen for them!

  5. Wooden Name Puzzle: This is a great personalized gift for toddler boys to help learn how to spell their name and letter recognition. My oldest is in 4k and he’s obsessed with his name and letters right now.

  6. Melissa & Doug Get Well First Aid Kit Play Set: This Dr. play set comes with 25 toy pieces. My son started telling us he wants to be a Dr. for Halloween next year. So naturally I thought this would be perfect for him.

  7. Retro Turntable Keychain: A nostalgic gift for the music lovers in your life, this retro turntable keychain lights up and plays music. Delight friends and family by tucking it into stockings or tying them on to gifts.

  8. SuperHero Kid’s Cape and Mask Set: For the little superhero in your life and/or Halloween enthusiast.

  9. WikkiStix for Doodlers: This is a fun crafty gift for toddler boys. They can make all kinds of things with these rainbow wax sticks. These would make great stocking stuffers too!

  10. Travel Katamino Pocket: It’s basically an in real life tetris! And it’s travel size. Says it’s recommended for 8yrs and up, but I know my son (4yrs old) would love playing with these pieces and trying to put them together or build a tower out of them.

Something They Can Wear

  1. Dino Hat & Mitten Set: cause they’re just so cute!

  2. Toddler Lightweight Puffer Jacket: Get your kiddo a sweet new puffer jacket for Christmas. Comes in lots of fun colors!

  3. Dinosaur Pullover Sweater: A fun twist on a classic style. 4 different color/style options.

  4. Rainboots with Easy-On Handles: These rainboots are in the cutest prints. They have both boys and girls, but the boy styles are so adorable. They have dinosaurs, construction vehicles, outer space and solid colors.

Something They Need

  1. Wooden Rocket Night Light Bedside Lamp: This is such a beautiful night light! It is a little pricey, but a Christmas (or birthday) gift is the time to invest in higher quality pieces. Plus, it’s a pretty awesome design!

  2. Mini Travel Fidget Cube Toy: This mini travel activity board is perfect for little boys. Would keep them entertained in the car traveling or waiting for their food in a restaurant. And it’s more involved and colorful than other “fidget toys” I've seen before.

  3. Construction Plate and Utensil Set: I have wanted to get my son one of these construction dinner plates and construction silverwear sets for awhile. I just haven’t yet because it’s pretty pricey for a plate and some utensils. With that being said, it is Christmas and it would constitute a “need” - he needs to eat! ;)

  4. Race Car Shaped Crayons (set of 6 or 12): Does your little boy like to color? I thought so. Wouldn’t it be so cool if he could color with a car?!? This shop has several different designs too!

  5. Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet: traveling and car rides. Need I say more? Get one for each kid so they don’t have to share!

  6. Drink & Snack Bottle: This is also a pretty sweet drink and snack holder in the shape of a water bottle. So cool!!

  7. Travel Car Play Mat: We have a car activity play mat in Silas’ room but its way too big to travel with. These are great for road trips or long waits in the Drs office. And this one is a construction one!

  8. Colorful Writing Pad/Tablet: Comes with drawing board, lanyard and case. These are great for no-mess travel or when siting silently is called for (church, events, restaurants, car rides, Dr. offices)
